| With the continuous development of the global economic integration and technological innovation, the original cognition, life and production style cannot meet the needs of economic and social development in the new era. Under the new situation,building innovative city becomes the new idea of developing urban economy and consolidating the power of urban economy and is the key to break the present competition pattern to become the strongest economy. Innovative city means that city apply innovative thoughts in the development and construction of city, strengthen the connection among enterprise, university and other research institutions to promote the efficiency of innovative knowledge transformation and build collaborative linkage of urban innovation network system to accelerate the process of upgrading the city’s economic center of gravity to a higher and more multiple level. This kind of city has core innovative advantages and solid economic status.Henan located in the Central Plains of China plays an important role in promoting China’s economy and building a balance between the east and west. Henan is the main object to decrease the gap between coastal city and inland city.This paper summarizes the findings of domestic and foreign research on Innovative City, combs the path of theoretical basis of innovative city construction research and practice, and explains the advantages and disadvantages regarding the construction of innovative city of Henan province based on the contrastive analysis of the construction experience and development pattern of typical innovative cities around the world. In order to better reveal the differences of Henan Province innovative city construction and regional innovation ability, this paper constructs the evaluation index system, uses statistical analysis method to evaluate the innovation ability and the efficiency ofinnovation of 18 cities in Henan province. This paper proposes suggestions on countermeasures according to the evaluation results. |
