Research On The Economic And Trade Cooperation Between Jilin Province And Russia

China and Russia are biggest neighbors to each other, as big countries of emerging market, science and technology, their cooperation has huge potential on economic and trade. Especially in recent years, China and Russia’s high-level exchanges frequently and political relations go through friendly. It is laid a solid foundation for the smooth development of bilateral economic and trade. China is as the largest trade partner of Russia for 6 consecutive years. Jilin Province and Russia connected in land, and has solid foundation on economic and trade cooperation, In recent years, with the steady trade development and improvement of the cooperation, the two sides make fruitful achievement on mutual investment cooperation. For Jilin Province, how to make full use of geographical and industrial advantages to push the economic and trade cooperation all-round with Russia, achieve the mutual benefit and win-win is an important subject in the Opening-up stage of Jilin Province.The paper firstly reviews the relevant theories of international economic and trade cooperation. It is mainly focus on economic and trade cooperation issues between Jilin Province and Russia, introduce and analysis on the theory of regional economic cooperation, sub-regional economic cooperation, international investment, gravity model of trade and border effect theory. It provides the theoretical support for analysis the economic and trade cooperation between Jilin Province and Russia. The paper introduces the general situation of the cooperation between Jilin Province and Russia on economic and trade. It is includes the current cooperation situation for China and Russia on economic and trade cooperation, import and export trade between Jilin Province and Russia and the two-way investment for Jilin Province and Russia.
