In recent years, China’s auto parts industry grew rapidly; Continued expansion of the scale; the international competitive strength and the export of auto parts are increasing year by year. According to the National Bureau of Statistics’s data that shows the amount of auto parts exports was $25.6 billion in 2012, up 11.75% compared with the same period last year; at the same time, the imports of auto parts are amounted to $22.9 billion, up 3.97% on year basis.As front-end terminal of automotive industry chain or value chain, the level of development of auto parts industry is directly related to the level of development of automobile industry in whole country. But only few of Chinese enterprises or Brand has the strength of international competitiveness. China’s auto parts production and export-oriented enterprises still use the advantage of labor cost to export labor-intensive products oversea. In direction of current economic transformation, the products with low-value or high comsuming energy will no longer supported by government policy which cause the enterprise lose the source of profit; and most of the auto parts manufacturers lack the investment for technical research, also with limit strength for business transformation and innovation, sinking into situation as a dilemma; with profits continued to decline, auto parts manufactures will face to a difficult situation to survive.From a whole situation of auto parts industry, widespread existences are shown as problem as the development of Chinese enterprises is not strong, the professional level of industry concentration is not high, product differentiation is not obvious, and the scale of economy is lower and other issues. While Chinese enterprises are generally weaker in overseas markets in the process, these issues are shown more prominent, the international market face to Chinese export-oriented auto parts enterprises has become increasingly competitive environment, the main problem is how to improve the acceleration of technological progress, if we can not catch up with the advanced level in the acceleration, we will always lag behind the level of foreign R&D, cause the circle as we import foreign innovation of techonoligy then absorb its, re-import and then re-absorp again and again.Now is the era of globalization of the automotive industry, the development of China’s auto parts industry will inevitably have a long way to go. The key question is how to take advantage of the worldwide scientific and technological achievements and intellectual resource for development requiring, how to adjust the industrial structure, restructuring and upgrading, how to improve the core competitiveness of auto parts products, how to open up overseas markets and to raise more space for the room of development.The article use the theory of Intra Industry Trade to ananlyze the current situation of international trade of China’s auto parts industry, in order to verify the real level of development behind the massive evaluation of trade scale; use the model of international competitiveness to explain the external environment and internal conditions of enterprises when Chinese auto parts trade overseas; then standing on the point of enterprise, compare the development characteristics of auto parts manufacturers from foreign country to China, to identify the existing strengths and weaknesses of China’s auto parts enterprises, then propose the improvement measures and the recommendations of the development strategies to Chinese auto parts export-oriented enterprises for extension in global market.
