An Empirical Study On The Impact Of Farmers' Endowment On The Poverty Alleviation Project In Poverty - Stricken Areas In Yunnan Province

This paper is to study the present situation of present households’ project choice, by empirical survey of Ludian County and Qiubei County in Yunnan province, which are national poverty counties. From the perspective of household endowments, we analyze household endowments’ effect on households’ project selection by establishing a Logit model. On the basis of production theory and technology innovation theory, this paper validates the important role of household endswments’project selection through economic analysis on households’project choice behavior.A survey of households in Ludian and Qiubei was conducted and using descriptive statistics analysis to describe household endowments’ present situation and the project selection. Application of econometric analysis has cleared about that there are five endowment variables have great effects on the project selection of households. They are the head of the household’s education degree, family distribution of cultivated land quality, the distance from the county government, the length of watching TV every day, whether family members received technical training these. According to the field research and the results of the analysis, this paper puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.By thorough analysis, this paper expounds household endowments’ influence on the choice of project in the poor regions of Yunnan province and provides some relevant information and policy supports for relevant departments.
