The salary incentive mechanism is an important part of the enterprise human resources management, it is one of the most complex and difficult things. Effective salary incentive mechanism is playing an irreplaceable role in attracting talents, improving the working enthusiasm of the staff. Workers in the building industry often have to work in harsh environment, and the work is boring, that is, works in the construction industry is essentially different from other industries. Most grass-roots staff salary incentive construction is still in the "the big rice bowl" system, the job satisfaction is relatively low, turnover rate is high, salary incentive system faces big problems. Therefore, it is of special significance to study the construction enterprise employees incentive mechanism.Firstly, this thesis defined the concept related to incentive compensation, principles of compensation incentive were understood, we also reviewed the main theories of economics and management compensation incentive. Then, we analysed the current situation of employees incentive compensation of A construction company, structure analysis showed that the current salary incentive system is not perfect, especially, non economic compensation is not enough, horizontal analysis showed that the difference of grass-roots staff salary is too small, is not flexible enough, and the satisfaction survey showed that the economic compensation satisfaction of informal employee is lowest, and the non economic salary satisfaction of official staff is lowest. Thirdly, we found out the existing problems:incentive principles is not completely, the existing salary system don’t match the company’s development, compensation and performance is poor and the non economic compensation is lack. Finally, we redesigned the employees salary incentive mechanism from the economic compensation and non economic compensation.Through the study of A construction company grass-roots staff salary incentive system, in order to improve the A construction company current salary incentive problems, at the same time, it has reference significance for other construction companies.
