Research On Financial Management Performance Of Listed State - Owned Enterprises

The reform and development issues of the state-owned-enterprises have given been great attention during the third Plenum of the18th Communist Party of Chinese Central Committee by Chinese new central government. One of main goals put forward concerning the strategy is to improve managerial efficiency and maximize profits and social welfare, which can’t live alone without rational financial aims and practical accounting practice.Discussed about status-quos, existed problems and performance concerning financial management of YTH Co. LTD, through technological methods of the Du Pont System and the improved Du Pont System, the author finds issues and existed problems in the company’s financial management, which may contribute to further study of subjects with financial management ability appraisal relating operation, profitability, and debt solving. Policy and countermeasures related are put forward, including selection of appropriate indexes, so as to give companies of this kind a reference in the study of financial performance appraisal.After the study, the author draws a conclusion that overall performance of YTH Co. LTD is not very nice and sound, involving operating, profiting, debt paying, and growing-four aspects of financial managerial abilities. Compared to companies in the same industry, it suffers a slow growth problem results from financial managerial problems such as high debt to asset ratio, lack of practical internal control, low asset usage rate, and high financial risks. To solve this issue in YTH and state-owned-companies like this, rational financial managerial ideas, strong supportive mechanisms, and strategically implemented reform policies are the keys to problems like this.
