| Opening to the outside world is a basic national policy of our country for a long time. Since reformed and opening up, China’s rapid economic development, the competitiveness of the industry got significant improvement. Butour country appeared a phenomenon that east andwest development and industrial competitiveness gap growing larger and larger. Now is in the transformation and upgrading of industry and international competition of our country has entered the critical moment, how to understand the opening to the outside world the extent of the impact on the industry competitiveness, by improving the growingly opened to enhance the industry competitiveness of western region, narrow the differences between the east region and this is the current urgent problem need to solved. This is the starting point and aim of this study.First, this paper applies the meaning of regional industry competitiveness and theoretical basis, combined with other scholars study about the industry competitiveness evaluation index and model of the system, the regional industrial competitiveness evaluation model was established, using SPSS statistical analysis software to principal component analysis of data, quantify the industry j competitiveness of the various provinces and cities in east and west. The result conform to the actual situation of industrial competitiveness is stronger than in most regions of east west. According to the definition of growingly opened again, growingly opened for the measure of eastern and western regions. The results indicated that the western region behind the eastern region, the western region the status quo of common foreign openness is not high.After through partial correlation and multiple regression analysis and study the relationship between opening to the outside world and the industry competitiveness, and has carried on the inspection result. Results show that the opening to the outside world has significant influence on industrial competitiveness and and opening to the outside of the indicators have different effects on the industry competitiveness.Finally, the analysis of the various indicators in the western region opening to the outside of the impact of industry competitiveness, on the basis of the our country the basic route of opening to the outside world to promote the competitiveness of the industry, presents how to improve the degree of opening to the outside world in the west to promote industry competitiveness countermeasure and make some politic suggestions to help the government find the right direction. |
