Research On The Present Situation And Influencing Factors Of Modern Service Industry In Yunnan Province

With the development of the economy, transformation of economic structure is also moving forward constantly. It is an inevitable trend that modern service industry replacing industry has become the engine of economic growth. The development level of modern service industry has become an important standard to measure the economic growth of a country or region. In recent years, the modern service industry in Yunnan Province has experienced a dramatic increasing and even be more competitive compared with the national level in some fields. However, there are still some problems of the development of modern service industry in Yunnan Province, such as the narrow development scale, the disordered interior structure and weak competitiveness.This paper, which bases on the theoretic research of modern service industry, the systematic analysis of the oral development condition and the development of interior structure, gives a deep see of the development of modern service industry in Yunnan. Then testify the indispensable reasons that influence the growth of modern service industry in Yunnan. First of all, find the weakness of the modern service industry in Yunnan by studying the overall development of modern service industry in Yunnan and comparing to the average leve l throughout the whole country. Secondly, take the national level of modern service industry as a reference. Then use the shift-share method to study the development of the interior structure of modern service industry of Yunnan. According to the study abo ve, public management, social security, social organization and education are the superior fields in modern service industry, which has played a positive role in promoting the development of modern service of Yunnan. The financial industry, information tra nsmission, computer service and software industry, scientific research, and technology service industry, culture, sports and entertainment industry are inferior to the other industries in Yunnan, which need considerable aid of the province. Thirdly, accord ing to the study on the analysis and summary of previous experience, find the important factors affecting the development of modern service industry in Yunnan province. Review and summarize opinions by some scholars and experts, combined analysis of the modern service industry in Yunnan province in this paper, and ultimately selected per capita disposable income of urban residents, the government expenditure level, the level of urbanization, marketization, foreign investment and population density as the important factors affecting the development of Yunnan modern service industry, combined with the number of employees in the modern service industry in Yunnan, carried on empirical analysis. Through the empirical analysis, we found that urbanization level, per capita disposable income of urban residents, the government expenditure and the level of foreign investment are the important factors to influence the development of modern service industry in Yunnan Province, especially the urbanization level and per capita disposable income of urban residents in Yunnan Province are the most important factors to the number of employed persons in Yunnan’s most prominent modern services. Fourthly, according to the research above, give practical feedback and suggestions to the development level of modern service industry in Yunnan in terms of the improvement of interior structure and outer influences. Thus, the paper is worth to study. It provides the theoretic basis for modern service industry of Yunnan, which is helpful for the improvement of interior structure so that promote the level of modern service industry in Yunnan comprehensively and accelerate the development of the economy in Yunnan.
