In recent years, domestic and foreign scholars continue to investigate the connotation of corporate social responsibility. More and more experts from different fields agree that social responsibility is a fundamental for survival and sustainable development modern of modern enterprise. China is still in the initial stages of economic development. Huge gap lies between a large scale of Chinese enterprises with some of the major international companies in the capital scale and comprehensive strength. Most Chinese enterprises set survival as the primary objective. These enterprises stay in the shallow surface of understanding the social responsibility, resulting in a lack of cognitive awareness of business ethics and social responsibility.Cognitive and understanding the true value given by social responsibility is the basis for the development of enterprise. Enterprises exist on society and they are bound to bear social responsibility. Social responsibility is not only a way of thinking about the sustainable development in the strategic management, but also the values for joint development of an enterprise with society, public, community, employees and other stakeholders while It profits. In order to promote better fulfilling their social responsibility to enhance the overall competitiveness of the enterprises, this paper presents innovative thinking framework based on the study of the existing theories of social responsibility. That is combined with their own core competitiveness as a breakthrough point to perform social responsibilities. This article tries to resolve the issue of how to better fulfill their social responsibilities, based on elaborating the close contact, mutual promotion and development between the core competitiveness of enterprises and their corporate social responsibility.The article is divided into seven parts. The first chapter is an introduction, summarizing the research background, purpose, significance, framework and methods. The second chapter is the literature review, which makes an theoretical inductive, including the historical and current research situation of the theory of Corporate Social Responsibility, the Core Competitiveness of Enterprises and other related theories made by domestic and foreign scholars, on the basis of which, discussing the definition and necessity of social responsibility with China’s present conditions. The third chapter proposed how corporates would fulfill their social responsibilities more effectively. Through analyzing core competitiveness effectively influences the social responsibility and the social responsibility reversely enhances core competitiveness, this chapter explores the relationship between core competitiveness of enterprises and social responsibility.
