A Study On The International Competitiveness Of China 's Manufacturing Industry

As the core of a country’s industry, manufacturing is the main force of industrialization and the engine of modernization and it is on behalf of the comprehensive national strength and international competitiveness. Although China is a big manufacturing country in the world, but must products in low end link in the international competition at a disadvantage.Therefore, it become the main topic to objectively analysis of the status of the competitiveness of China’s manufacturing industry and actively seeks the measures to enhance the international competitiveness and accelerate the development of China’s manufacturing industry. Based on the theories of comparative advantage and competitive advantage, this study of Chinese manufacturing industry use of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to analyze the international competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing conditions and China’s manufacturing industry determinants of international competitiveness as well as basic conditions for the formation and development. And through horizontal and vertical analysis of the Chinese manufacturing industry and its international competitiveness within the industry, it shows that the situation of our industry’s competitive advantage and competitive disadvantage and they are to be classified and analyzed. In addition, based on a case study of China’s electromechanical manufacturing industry, the article comprehensively analyzes the statue of its international competitiveness. Finally, based on the study of the status of China’s manufacturing industry in the previous paper and combined with its development problems, it puts forward to improve the international competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing countermeasures.
