An Analysis Of John Romer 's Exploitation Theory

The exploitation problem as well as the important concepts of Marxistphilosophy and political economy,that with the development of human society andeconomic system related to the construction of social problems. The representativeperson of analysis Marxist,John·Roemer to build micro-economic model to start, tryto reconstruct the classical Marxist theory of exploitation by game theory point ofview, in order to make the rationalization of a number of economic issues andpolitical issues of the existing socialist countries appear explain and to broaden thethinking of socialist economic construction.Since Roemer’s exploitation theory is a philosophical theory involvingmultidisciplinary, this paper under the guidance of dialectical materialism andhistorical materialism, the integrated use of research methods philosophy, economics,sociology, mathematics and other disciplines, the theory of Roemer’s exploitation aswell as its contemporary value and other issues, mainly from four aspects areanalyzed and discussed. The first part focuses on Roemer’s exploitation theorygenerated background. The second part describes the construction of Roemer’sexploitation theory. By analyzing the core part of this section Roemer’s exploitationtheory that the concept of the general exploitation, the exploitation of sociallynecessary, in-depth analysis of the evolution of a variety of social forms ofexploitation. In the third part, Roemer’s exploitation theory and Marxist theory ofexploitation were compared by similar and different from two angles. The fourth partdiscusses the practical value and theoretical value of Roemer exploitation theory.Roemer’s exploitation theory helps us to correctly treat the problem ofexploitation of socialist society and the need to understand the significance of socialmorality in the exploitation. While Roemer theory is to have a sense progress, butthere are still flaws and shortcomings, we should take the attitude of abandoningrational absorbing the advanced part of its theory in practice.
