Research On Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Theme Park In Shandong Province

The Theme Park has been hot all over the world from Disney, the first theme park in its truesense, come into being, which spread from USA to Europe，Japan，China and the like. The rapidrise and development of theme parks also attracts great interest of experts. As the theme parkfollow suit and over-investment has been placed before construction, the government came onwith new policies to regulate. The development of theme park facing a severe trial with moreand more theme park went up in Shandong, which are limited in small market and fiercecompetition. With the analysis and research of the theme park development and related theories,this thesis analyzes the present situation and proposes some exploratory strategy, wishing to bebeneficial to the management of theme park.This thesis is divided into five parts. The first chapter is the prologue which expounds theresearch background and related research progress at home and abroad. The second part combsthe basic and developmental theory of theme park, define and classify the theme park and putforward the influencing factor and development patterns of the theme park. The designers anddevelopers of theme parks in different areas should make full use of local advantages andshould not construct blindly, these relative theories establish the theoretical basis for thecurrent and future development of the theme parks in Shandong Province; the third part of thisthesis is mainly about exploring the present situation and regular patterns of the theme park’sdevelopment in Shandong Province. Starting with the development condition of Shandong’stheme park, with analyzing the typical and three-A level above theme parks, this paper come upwith the current development law of theme park in Shandong province: Investment scale isdeveloping rapidly, the product type in the majority with science and technology industry classand modern amusement park, investment region around jinan, Qingdao of two big economicpowerhouse; on the basis of Shandong ocean theme parks’ field survey and questionnaireresearch, this thesis also demonstrates theme park’s development in Shandong Province muchmore effectively for it combines quantitative analysis and empirical analysis; the fourth partdescribes optimization of motivations in the development of Shandong Province’s theme park,of course these motivations restricted the development of the theme parks in ShandongProvince: more theme parks and less high-quality ones, same project, the market competition,the lack of publicity, single profitable; Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, a series ofcountermeasures focused on the sustainable development of theme parks in Shandong Provinceare proposed from government, industry chain, publicity, brand, market, management, etc.
