A Study On The Scale Of Fiscal Expenditure In China

The Chinese economy has a very rapid development in recent years. At the sametime, the Chinese education career is developing very quickly.The role education playson Chinese modern economy is more and more important. Now, China is graduallyincreasing the intensity of the educational investment. However, not only on the totalinput, but also the input structure, there are big gaps comparing with the internationalaverage level. Meanwhile, the efficiency of the educational investment is at a very lowlevel, and this results in the waste of education resources. The distribution of theeducation investment on the urban and rural is unfair.This paper summarizes the problems that the Chinese educational investment exists,through explaining the present situation of the Chinese educational budget and makingthe comparison among the international educational investment level. And alsorecognize the rationality of the Chinese surpassing strategy. For the problems of theeducational investment, this paper analyzes the influence factors of each problem, fromthe stage of economic development, and the level of economic development and theconfiguration of the educational fund. Finally, this paper puts forward China should risethe education spending, and optimize the structure of educational investment, andimprove the efficiency of the educational funds, and improve the level of investment ineducation, with the purpose of promoting the Chinese educational development.At thesame time, we should draw the lessons from the foreign educational experience.
