In recent years, the heavy auto industry emerged blowout type growth, Shanxi Heavy-duty Motor Company Limited also obtained great progress in such an environment, but it still existed some problems such as extensive management, lack of scientific strategy, these enterprises "bigger and stronger" vision formed the restriction. For shanxi heavy duty, how to obtain the high speed development in the fierce market competition, essential to develop a scientific development strategy.This paper firstly uses the PEST model, analyzes the external environment faced by Shanxi heavy duty truck; then according to the five forces model requirements for the industry competitors, potential entrants, customers, suppliers and substitute producers are analyzed in detail, the external opportunities and threats; analysis method combined with qualitative and quantitative forecast of the sales problems of heavy truck; analysis of the overall attractiveness of heavy truck industry by using the EFE matrix method; the internal factors analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of Shanxi heavy duty truck, and the Shanxi heavy duty advantage status by using IFE matrix; matrix through SWOT to develop six alternative strategy; using the QSPM matrix, decides the development strategy using the SOI development strategy and ST1strengthening cooperation strategy; the overall strategic objectives decomposition, the sub strategy of Shanxi heavy duty from the product, marketing, human resources, finance, investment five aspects; finally summarizes the steps of implementation strategy.
