Research And Improvement Of Spare Parts Management Of Yankuang Group

The aim of spare parts management is to use the minimum funds, reasonable inventory reserves to ensure equipment maintenance needs, and constantly improve the maintainability, economy and reliability of equipments. Therefore, scientific and effective spare parts management has not only become an important part of reducing maintenance costs while improving benefits, but also ensuring the continuous production.Due to the maintenance of mining equipments, Yanzhou Group companies, as coal mining enterprises, need to consume a large amount of spare parts to guarantee continuous and stable production. How to rationally and scientifically plan the coal mining enterprises’ equipments for the requirements of reducing the cost of procurement, which means that it is to reduce the occupied stock funds to a reasonable level, is an urgent work.In this paper, for the existing problems of Yanzhou Mining Group’s management of spare parts, initially, the current situation of the researches of spare parts’ management in China and abroad is discussed from the supply chain management, information management and mechanical failure prediction. Secondly, combining the current situation of Yanzhou Mining Group’s management of spare parts, some drawbacks are found. Thirdly, against the defects existed in management, some rational proposals which aims to improve the management mode and three creative innovations are proposed. Fourthly, Refining the procurement mode of the company and adjusting the unreasonable inventory structure also updating the information of spare parts management are needed to be done. Then predicting equipments failure aims to reduce the inventory level of spare parts. Finally, effects after improvement are assessed.
