In recent years, due to the rapid development of wireless network technology, its increasingly wide range of applications and becoming inaccessible everywhere, so Internet of Things, context-awareness pervasive services and other concepts have been proposed. People are eager to get or process information of all the things in the world.RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) has many advantages such as non-contact, strong anti-interference, fast positioning, Long-range identification, non-line location, low cost. The above features make RFID positioning technology become to stand from many wireless location technologies and becoming one of the main option for the future of wireless location technology.In the conventional RFID positioning technology, LANDMARC system is the most typical system, others are basically do some modifications on LANDMARC system. LANDMARC system creatively introduces the concept of reference tags. It is the first way that attempt to apply RFIF to indoor positioning and erected a complete system to achieve better positioning accuracy. Because this method use many reference tags to replace many RFID readers, it make RFID to be a cost-effective indoor location technology. But its positioning range is too small, if it is use in a wide range, it also will cost too match. It cannot use in outdoor.Now, existing RFID positioning method is only suitable for small-scale indoor positioning and the method is inconvenient. A new positioning method is proposed in this paper. At first, it arranges a reader’s antenna in the central location of the positioning region. Second, the antenna rotates by a certain angular velocity to get the signal of RSSI. Third, maximum method is used to calculate the angle and distance according to the signal after denoising. Because this way use one reader and one antenna, so it will cost much less than existing RFID positioning method and it is easier.Results shows that maximum method can figure out the position but error is too large. So, wavelet threshold is used to denoise the signal, then maximum method is used to figure out the position. Results shows this way can get the position, and error is much less than only use maximum method. This way can meet the accuracy requirements of position that not need a very high accuracy.
