With the rapid development of agriculture automation, a large number of machines replace manual operation, such as the use of crops detrasher. Detrasher system involves a lot of technologies, one of which is the image acquisition and transmission technology. Image acquisition and transmission system needs to complete a series of operations on crops, which is on the conveyor belt, including image acquisition, image processing, image transmission and so forth. The working environment of detrasher is very bad, which implies that image acquisition and transmission system needs higher requirements in real-time and reliability. This thesis studies and implements an image acquisition and transmission system based on linear CCD array camera+FPGA+Gigabit Etheme.In this system, the crops digital image data collected by linear CCD array camera are transmitted to the FPGA via Camera Link Interface. The SOPC is trussed in the FPGA, and completes image data caching with Self-designed image caching IP kernel module based on the trigger mechanism. Then, SOPC transfers the cached image data to the host computer via Ethernet UDP Protocol, with Self-designed MAC soft IP core module on deep customization. At last, the host computer displays uploaded image.This paper analyzes the principle of SOPC design, and introduces the design and implementation of IP core with independent intellectual property rights. In the Nios II soft-core CPU embedded software development, it implements the functions of interaction between the host machine and user. The design of user interaction function is inspired by the idea of Linux operating system to access the kernel. Also, this paper creatively shows Nios II soft-core CPU recognizes user commands.Finally, this paper uses a variety of tools to test the image capture and transmission system, such as SignalTap Ⅱ logic analyzer, Wireshark protocol analyzer, the image display software developed with MFC and compares the image data in different positions to judge the correctness of image transmission.
