With the development of science and technology, while the computer is getting smaller and smaller, the information displayed on it is getting larger and larger. Users want to maintain and even improve the quantity of the displayed information when choosing a smaller device. Therefore, the trade-off between the goal of the size, accessibility and the amount of information on the screen is an important issue. In this article, we will discuss the similarities and differences between fuzzy input and precise input in click interactive task of the interface of Pen+Touch. We have designed click-touch experiments and an annular input experiment to compare two kinds of input features and their advantages and disadvantages, study their joining and qualities and examine the combination of these kinds of input interaction mode. The main contents of this paper are as follows:First, this paper designed a click task experiment, in which the use of the user’s hand and non dominant hand clicks on the task performances are studied. The purpose is to determine the minimum width of the experimental objective. We used the conventional finger and the touch pen doing the same click on the click task. Through the analysis on the click of the touch task efficiency and error rate of data we obtained that the user pen input click task target width is not less than 16 pixels while the direct touch click task standard width should not be less than 18 pixels.Second, in order to further study the capacity and limitations of the user input, we completed two experiments based on orbit mission. We also used finger and pen to follow the same orbit mission. Through analysis on the orbit mission time and error rate, we got the user to perform linear input task target width should not be less than 23 pixels, the ring of the input task target width not less than 27 pixels. Besides, we also obtained some other important conclusions:1. The ability of non dominant hand to control input is significantly lower than the usual hand.2. The linear task is more difficult than the click task, and the pen type input is more difficult than the direct input.3. Pen input accuracy rate is higher than the direct input, and the average time of its input is also higher than the direct input.Third, based on the experimental study of this paper, we discuss the input mode from the pen +touch, and put forward a pen+touch interaction mode. Finally, we have improved the application design of our predecessors, making it more humane. This research is based on the basic research of pen+touch input, which has an obvious guiding significance to the design of the interactive technology in the pen and touch interface.
