Fiber-optic accelerometer is a kind of new sensor system with brand dynamic range and high sensitivity. Fiber-optic acceleration sensor can be used to detect a weak vibration, missile guidance besides its application in geophysical prospecting and mineral production.At the first of this thesis, the global development of the optic fiber accelerometer is explained. The principles and architectures of fiber sensors based on Michelson are introduced. The nature frequency of the sensor, as well as the sensitivity is analyzed theoretically. The linearity of the sensor response is analyzed by experiments.According to the experimental results:with the increase of the mass, the natural frequency of the sensor gradually become smaller. The natural frequency of the sensor is about 340Hz when the mass is 29.33 grams. The natural frequency of the sensor is about 210Hz when the mass is 74.82 grams. Compared with the traditional sensors, the fiber optic sensors have notable advantages such as wide operation frequency range and high sensitivity.the sensitivity is 7054rad/g when the mass is 74.82 grams.The linearity of the sensor response is analyzed by experiments...
