Zhou Lianggong was a famous litterateur and publisher in late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, also skilled in calligraphy appreciation and collection. He had a large number of books stored which made him worshiped by scholars. Morever, he was highly controversial as a “betrayer”. All these had deeply affected his writing and inscription. Zhou had an obsession for letters so he compiled three anthologies consist of more than 2,400 letters with the celebrities and scholars. This paper tries to sort out the contents of 2,400 letters and summarize the input standards of letters. It also categorized and combined the letters according to the contents and added punctuation to the articles. We can get to know the social activities of Zhou.To some extent, the letters had significant content value.Unfortunatly, there were no differential essays and books written about these treasures systematically and elaborately before.I hope this paper can prove the academic and literature value of the 2,400 letters and set an example of related research from now on.
