Research On User Information Behavior In Social Network Environment

With the continuous development of information technology, the convenient and fast network services have gradually stepped into people’s daily lives. People are used to carrying out their daily life behaviors through the Internet and people’s social interaction are increasingly conducted on the Internet. With the promotion and popularization of Internet, the number of Internet users has continuously risen and the information created by network users has also shown a trend of explosive growth. So the research of user information behavior is becoming a hot research point in the field of information science. The research on the users information behavior under the environment of social network is the expression of a combination of the above mentioned.The paper carries out an analysis based on the typical domestic operating model of representative social network platforms and then it summarizes the propagation characteristics of information in social network. Based on the existing academic theories of user information behavior and the classical model of user information behavior, the paper takes the affecting factors of user information as the starting point, building a model of user information behavior under the environment of social network. Eventually, it proves the feasibility of the model through empirical research, and it also carries out optimization for the user information behavior model according to the results of empirical research, which provides a practical basis for improving the efficiency of information acquisition and the development of social network.
