A Study Of Interaction Space Design Based On Reception Aesthetics

With the increase of people’s demand for life quality and awakening of self-cognition, the concept of “people first” gains more and more popularity, and“interaction” has become a hot topic. People would be concerned about the influence of all aspects of design on users and the way to optimize user experience through“interaction”. The trend of returning to nature in design has become a common sense.Based on the effect of reception aesthetics towards interactive space design, and with role interaction as the center, this article emphasized on the “expectation” of users from the psychological meaning of “understanding”, expanded the connotation of“interaction” and promoted deep research. First, this article analyzed traditional space design method, and pointed out that, habits in traditional design, such as that the designers were used to work alone, and blindly followed the mode of owner would lead to many problems, for example, the design could not truly understand and satisfy the need of users, conflicts between the two sides, and the potential of the designer could not be fully tapped, then the author probed the origin of those problems and concluded the necessity of changing traditional concepts. Second, systematic research and analysis on the reception aesthetics were carried out. Started from the core view of “readers’ acceptance”, the author discussed the enlightenment of reception aesthetics on space design and the close relation between interactive designs. Based on above researches, new entry point of design was obtained. Then under enlightenment of reception aesthetics, the author proposed some methods to realize interaction, such as understanding of usage intention, participating in design suggestions discuss, space establishment and space manufacturing, assistance from computer simulation and design of feedback improvement, and with relevant practical cases, offered methods and evidences for design, and this would enlighten contemporary architecture a lot. Finally, the significance of this research was concluded: to change the design ideas, establish harmonious relations in design, meet individual demands, optimize design, and tap the potential of users and designers.
