Precision frequency signal is an important guarantee for communication, electronic measurement, navigation and positioning system. In order to ensure the normal operation of the system, it is necessary to use the main and standby links to produce the reference frequency signal. If a fault occurs on the main frequency signal, it can be switched to the standby link in time. It is necessary to monitor the integrity of the output frequency signal.This paper analyzes the abnormal situation of main and standby links and its impacts. For the characteristics of main and standby links, proposed integrity monitoring method of main and standby links, and build integrity monitoring test verification system to verify the proposed method effectiveness.The main research contents of this paper is as follows:1) Analyzing typical abnormal states of main and standby links output signal and its influence, integrity monitoring method of main and standby links is designed, and proposed an integrity monitoring method of main and standby links based on common oscillator, in the case without introducing external reference signal. Abnormal state that can be detected include frequency hopping signal failure. The scheme can determine which link is abnormal and what happen. This provide judgment basis for seamless handover of main and standby links.2) Analysis structural features and measurement principles of Multi-channel Phase Measurement System(TSC MMS), according to the proposed monitoring methods, compare measurement the output data of the main and standby links by TSC MMS in hardware platform. Build a data model for phase difference of TSC MMS,and provide data sources for integrity monitoring of main and standby links.3) A monitoring software is designed based on Lab Windows/CVI 2010 virtual instrument programming platform. The software can collect the measurement data of TSC MMS in real-time, the measurement data is processed in accordance with the monitoring algorithm. In addition, it can display the monitoring situation automatically, graphically and intelligently.4) A test system of integrity monitoring of main and standby links has been built to verify integrity monitoring methods and designed algorithms.This provide data support for evaluation of platform integrity monitoring techniques.This paper follows three stages such as theory analysis, platform structures, experimental validation, which argue the feasibility of the proposed method. This study effectively simplify the structure of the main and standby links, and improve the continuity and reliability of itsoutput signal. It can uninterrupted provide high-precision frequency signal to an electronic system, and improve navigation satellite, terrestrial systems and other sophisticated equipment to deal with complex environment. Finally, it meets the system frequency source output signal continuity and reliability requirements.
