Wooden structure as a world cultural heritage an important part of Fujian Tulou,earth buildings is also an important carrier of culture. This paper is based on field research Tulou, earth buildings were fire simulation model tests in both ventilation conditions at home and abroad to fill the gaps Earthen wood structure fire resistance and fire resistance performance as well as all kinds of ancient architecture Earthen research to provide a reference.In this paper, on the Yongding, Earthen Zhangzhou area especially for the fire occurred Earthen use visits, questionnaires, measurement, statistics, etc. for research to understand the characteristics of the local soil building and construction technology in particular rammed earth, wood, timber-framed structure, Learn more about fire and measuring process parameters analyzed by fire wood member. After considering the purpose of the test equipment, test space, transport, funding and other constraints, we decided to make three single-room unit with two spans of Earthen overall scale model under fire in fire test furnace, two conditions of natural ventilation simulation test,while using the same batch of timber production test specimen timber material properties.Through the test specimen timber, calculate the moisture content, moisture content when appropriate density(air-dry density, total dry density, standard air-dry density)and compressive strength parallel to grain, and moisture content were converted to standard comparison.
