With the height of high-building increasing, earthquake and wind load affect the high-rise structure significantly, also the undoubted influence on super high-rise structure and the rapid growth with height of lateral displacement which make enhance the structure of lateral stiffness and the ability for resistance of the horizon pushing force become the priority for all. Therefore, in order to conquer the shear lag effect and solve due to insufficient stiffness generates the issue of much bigger lateral displacement. There are many advantages in frame-core tube structure with strengthened layer but also has disadvantage that the weak layer generated for the sudden variation of structural internal force under the action of earthquake that makes difficult to appear the ductile yield mechanism as like the design expected in which has to be confronted. Hereby we need to make in-depth discussions on the mechanism of stress of the frame-core tube structure with strengthened story under the earthquake.This paper has referred to research results of relevant scholars, modals were built via finite element analysis software SAP2000, depending on difference of number and stiffness of strengthened story with the optimal position, and calculated by linear time history analysis, analyzing and researching the effects and laws of outrigger to mechanism of structure. The main work of this paper is shown as follow:1.Under the basic assumptions and depending on optimal position,six schemes were built with the difference of outrigger’s numbers and three schemes were built with stiffness of outrigger along the height of structure, and then beginning the analysis of modal and researching the laws of variation of natural vibration period of structure.2.Calculating the modals with the difference of strengthened stories’ number by linear time-history analysis, and abstracting the data of displacements of structural top and story drifts, shear forces and moments, the distribution of internal force between outer frame and core tube, and analyzing the effect of lateral stiffness and endogenous force of this structure with difference of strengthened story’s number, and finding out the proper explanation.3.In the same conditions, calculating the modals with the difference of strengthened stories’ stiffness by linear time-history analysis, abstracting the data and analyzingthe effect of displacements of structural top, the distribution of shear forces and moments between outer frame and core tube,shear and axial forces of outer frame and making conclusions and suggestions.
