With the increasing demand for electricity in the society, the requirement for wind capacity is also increasing. So people begin to try to develop large wind turbine to meet the demand for electricity, this needs to increase the requirement of blade. The blade as the core of wind turbine, the length and weight is restricing the security and economic problems of wind turbine. Study of blade is not only influenced the degree of wind turbines using, but also the effect is not negligible for its using performance.China is a major consumer of energy, in recent years, as the support of government, wind power has rapidly developed, but compared with developed countries in wind power technology aspects still has a large gap, above MW wind power equipment design technical reference import, in particular, the key components of wind power is basically dependent on foreign technology. So to study of the country’s own wind power technology and strengthen the development and utilization of wind energy are the most importent things that cannot be waited. This topic comes from the project of Lanzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, "the key technology research on the design of MW class horizontal axis wind turbine"(2013-4-11). The key point is the research on blade design:First of all, according to the basic theory and method of blade design, carries on the preliminary basic aerodynamic design and structure design. Combined with UG3 D software to 3D entity modeling of wind turbine blades, finite element analysis for the blade and layer optimization work.Secondly, through the finite element software blade finite element model is established. Respectively according to the theory of finite element analysis of blade static strength analysis and modal analysis and stability analysis, to ensure that the design of the blade as to meet the requirements of strength, stiffness and stability, etc. Finally, on the basis of the theory of leaf layer on the vane shear web and skin layer optimization, the blade can better adapt to the actual running environment. This topic through on leaf shape and internal structure design, and optimize the structure, finally through the analysis of the obtained blade design to meet the design requirements, and the optimized blades can be better adapted to their environment.
