Subway construction scale expands gradually, the number of equipment in operation and species are also increasing, the equipment of subway station gotoward automation, intelligent and diversification.However, for the changing high-end electronic equipments, while bringing us convenient, also a lot of potential safety hazard.According to statistics, equipment failure has become the main reason for the subway accident and fault.In the process of subway station safety management, it has become the important problem facing the governments at all levels and management department that how to strengthen the management of the station equipment, improve the security and reliability of the subway station equipment, reduce the failure rate and ensure the safety of the subway station operation.Compared with the developed countries, the subway is in a period of rapid development in China, there are insufficient in many ways, such as the laws and regulations system construction, safety management experience, disposal of response to security incidents, etc. therefore, it has become the urgent matter to seek a kind ofequipment management patternwhich canimprove the efficiency of management and promote the subway station safe, reliable and efficient operation.Firstly,this paper introduced the characteristics and functions of the main equipment of metro station,analyzed the status quo of the main equipment for the current subway station safety management, and made clear the principle and target of equipment safety management.Secondly, the factors affecting the safety of the subway stationmajor equipment were made a comprehensive analysis. Summed up the equipment unsafety state is affected by various factors, such asthe equipment failure general rule,the properties of equipment itself and "man- machine- environment- management" and so on,any kind of factors out of control were safe hidden trouble.By focusing on analysis of the risk factors of vertical elevators, escalators, automatic ticket machine, shielding door equipment,to find ways to implement security, which provide guidance to improve management for the follow-up.Then, the subway station equipment safety management mode are studied. Aimed at the exist problem of subway station equipment management at present, a highly efficient management method were introduced,which focused on both quality of equipment, and process improvement, namely the six sigma management mode, then researched to establish asubway station equipment safety management mode which based on six sigma DMAIC process.Finally, combined with the instance ofBeijing subway station port A zoo escalator equipment which utilized six sigma DMAIC mode management, well reflected the strong guiding role ofsix sigma management mode in the subway station equipment safety management, confirmed that this method was applied in the subway station equipment management was effective.Hoped to be able to provide thinking and references for improving equipment management quality and safetylevelfor the subway enterprises continuously.
