Rolling spherical plain bearing, which makes sliding friction of ordinary spherical plain bearings into rolling friction in the radial plane, is a new type of bearings adding the balls between the outer ring and the inner ring. Rolling spherical plain bearing has a small friction coefficient, high speed, and the advantages of long service life, thus it is widely used in the field of aeronautics and astronautics, national defense military equipment, transportation machinery. But when it swings in the axial plane the friction is still sliding friction. In order to solve the shortcomings, a new type of rolling spherical plain bearing is put forward and the relation between the structure and performance is researched. The main research content is as follows:First the structure of the race is determined. Referencing to the size of the rolling spherical plain bearings GEH100 HC, linear motion bearings and the structure characteristics of the rolling guide, the working principle is expounded and corresponding structure design is completed.The load distribution under single load and static condition and the contact pressure between inner ring and the ball are theoretical derivated. And a finite element verification is carried out so as to induce the influence of the ball diameter on the load distribution and law of contact pressure. Then the structure is optimized.The kinematics of bearing internal relations is studied. First, the kinematics relationship is analyzed. The ball’s rotation and revolution speed is obtained according to the speed of the inner ring. Then the kinematics of the general relationship is calculated.The sliding and rolling speed of corresponding contact point of the ball and inner ring and the bearing raceway are respectively calculated. And the ratio of revolution and rolling between the rollings and inner ring and the bearing raceway is concluded.
