| As for the vehicle holdings keeping growing, it brings about a lot of problems, such as environmental issues and security issues. For the sheet used for automotive, making its weight lighter and strength higher is a direct solution to the problems above. Because the sandwich plate consisting of the outer plate and the inner core has the character of high stiffness and strength., is has great research value on plate lightweight of automotive. In this paper, a new kind of lightweight sandwich plate was designed. And at the same time,the sandwich plate`s mechanical properties and forming properties are studied through finite element analysis and simulation and stamping processing experiment.In this paper, using the finite element software Workbench, through compared three kinds of thin structure core, a conclusion was draw that the pyramid core`s flat crush property was better. The plate that pyramids uniform distribution on can be manufactured by stamping. The inner core layer of the new sandwich plate designed in this paper consist of two pyramid-distribution-plates. The pyramid-distribution-plates lean on each other fitly though the pyramids.The pyramid sandwich plate can be applied on the auto-floor, using the finite element software Workbench compared it with the honeycomb sandwich in bending and in-plane impression performance. Comparative analysis honeycomb sandwich plate and pyramid sandwich plate from three point bending simulation and in-plane impression simulation, it was found that the behavior of pyramid sandwich plate is better.For easily production and improving the quality of forming, forming property was studied and the size of the pyramid was optimized. Targeted at the optimized pyramid plate, the corresponding mold was manufactured. From manufacturing the pyramid sandwich plate designed in this paper, it was verified that the possibility of processing the pyramid sandwich plate. |
