With the continuous improvement of living standards, people put forward higher requirements with living environment, more and more emphasis on each member of the family life’s comfort, safety and convenience, Smart Home came into being with this requirement, at the same time, intelligent mobile phone and tablet computer based on mobile Internet terminal as the representative, are more and more popular. In this context, a Smart Home control system which can use the mobile Internet terminal acquires family environment information, intelligent control of household appliances, implement home video surveillance in anytime and anywhere,is bound to have a very broad market.For this demand, this thesis designed and implemented a complete new Smart Home control system based on SEP611. The system consists of intelligent control terminal, P2P platform, Smart Home Gateway, video capture server, wireless remote control switch, intelligent control terminal is mobile Internet terminals based on Android platform, it runs a control terminal software which this project developed. Smart Home Gateway can establish communication with infrared appliances via infrared transceiver module, also can establish communication with RF433 appliances via radio frequency 433MHz transceiver module, and get temperature and humidity by indoor temperature and humidity sensors; Smart Home Gateway and video capture server access to the Internet via Wi-Fi and register to P2P platform; intelligent control terminals access to the Internet via Wi-Fi/4G/3G/2G and remotely connected to the Smart Home Gateway to control home appliances and get temperature and humidity, connected to the video capture server implementation home video surveillance. For many IR, RF433 household appliances, this system control appliances by studying remote control decoder information. For fluency requirements of home video surveillance, we use H.264 codec solutions through Smart Home Gateway’s hardware encoding and intelligent control terminal soft decoding.After testing this system,this thesis can achieve a stable appliances control function, precise monitoring temperature and humidity, smoothly displaying home video surveillance image, the image resolution is 320x240, the frame rate is 15 frames/sec. The system will enable the development of intelligent home control from custom single way to the mobile Internet means.
