| With the development of modern society and the economy, the huge demand for energy is to promote the rapid development of power industry, making the power system to a large-capacity, high-voltage and inter-regional direction. Accelerating the construction of power grids, upgrading grid technology, the application of new technologies, new devices, as well as the requirements of their own development raise a claim to safe production, reliability and service. The safe operation of electrical equipment is the basis of the power grid’s stable operation, in particular the power transformer, which is the key for power system equipment, its quality directly affects the entire power system operation. The breakdown of the power transformer can cause huge loss of equipment and other assets and power blackouts, and even have serious social impact. Therefore, improving the operation and maintenance levels of power transformers, can prevent and reduce the incidence of failure. To use reasonable maintenance decisions to reduce maintenance costs is a key issue need to be resolved.Condition overhaul is a new technology overhaul, the first is to assess the state of the equipment, including on-line monitoring to equipment, combined with equipment manufactured materials, construction data, historical inspection data to state assessment, which is the basis and prerequisite to carry out condition overhaul; second is to base on the results of on-line monitoring, undertaking fault diagnoses and analysis, to analyze and identify the various types of equipment failure; finally, according to the results of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, develop a maintenance strategy, and determine the maintenance measures. Condition overhaul is not only to promote the progress of the electrical equipment maintenance and management, but also promote the improvement of on-line monitoring technology, reduce maintenance costs and improve reliability. |
