As a kind of renewable and clean energy, wind power has received the attention of the countries all over the world, and the installed capacity rapidly increases year by year. But due to the characteristics of the uncertainty, the counter-peaking and fluctuation of the wind power, the operation of the grid is more uncontrollable, and the thermal power unit is hard to cope with the problem, so the countries all over the world take many measures to deal with the problem brought by wind power. The measures of the scheduling model, the uncertainty analysis of wind power and a variety of resources are taken to improve wind power grid integration capacity on the basis of network effects. And the paper is as follow:Firstly, transmission losses has certain influence to the economy of the grid, and it’s more important to explicitly considered transmission losses under the circumstances of Large-scale wind power integrated systems as the uncertainty of wind power. A economic dispatch model considering embedding transmission losses is proposed in the paper, which is based on an advanced DC power flow considering branch resistance. The proposed model is decomposed into a master problem and a subproblem through benders decomposition, which the master problem solves the unit commitment regardless of the network constraints, and the economic dispatch model considering embedding transmission losses is optimized to check the network security in the subproblem on the basis of the result of the master problem. Then benders cuts are generated to coordinate the master problem and the subproblem until the final result is found, and the objective is modified to accelerate the iterative process. The testing verified the accuracy of the method proposed in this paper.Secondly, Latin hypercube sampling and scenario reduction technology is proposed to generate a certain number of scenarios, which can simulate the error of the predictive wind power. And the scenarios is considered in the economic dispatch model considering embedding transmission losses, which the result of unit commitment is optimized regardless of the network constraints in the forecast scenario of wind power in the master problem, and in the subproblem, on the basis of the result of the master problem, the expected cost of the economic dispatch model considering embedding transmission losses scenarios under the scenarios of wind power. The testing verified the importance of the uncertainty of wind power considered in the economic dispatch.Lastly, conventional thermal unit cannot solve some problem brought by wind power and the profit of the grid declined because of the characteristics of wind power, multiple resource is proposed in the paper to solve this problem. Pumped storage power station and demand-side resources are modelled in detail, and connected respectively to the model proposed in the third section. And cases are performed to analyze the performance of all the new resource, and to coordinate the scheduling of the new resources in the grid.
