Wind power uncertainty leads to the difficulty of power system dispatch andoperation. On the one hand, wind power uncertainty requests a higher capability of unitramp ability, So the methods of units output allocation are worth studying, which ensurethe system have enough ability of climbing steep peak load to deal with wind poweruncertainty and guarantee the safety operation of power grid. On the other hand, themethods to obtain robust solutions with the presence of wind power uncertaintydisturbance are of great significant to the safety of power system.Focusing on the above problem that caused by the wind power uncertainty, this paperstudies the methods to improve the ability of climbing peak load and multi-objectiverobust dispatch problem. The concrete research contents are as follows:Firstly, the characteristics of energy consumption and carbon emissions of thermalpower unit which equipped with carbon capture system are studied. The factors of windpower uncertainty and the negative effect brought by wind power uncertainty aresummarized. And also, the application of robust optimization in handling uncertainparameters is introduced.Secondly, Scenario analysis is used to characterize the wind power uncertainty andnearest neighbor clustering method is proposed to cut scenario numbers. This articledefines the unit ramp redundancy index and builds the economy and unit ramp redundancydispatch model, which takes wind power uncertainty and wind power curve trend intoconsideration. Strategies that obtained from the results are proposed to improve theclimbing abilities of the system and provide references for power grid enterprises.Thirdly, robust multi-objective dispatch model is proposed based on roustoptimization method with the existence of wind power uncertainty disturbances. At thesame time, carbon capture and storage(CCS) is also considered in the model in order tostudy the effects of carbon capture system flexible operation on power system dispatch.The model is solved by intelligent optimization algorithm and the results are analyzedfrom the following three aspects: the effects of uncertainty on robust solutions, the robustness of the optimal solution and the effects of flexible operation of CCS on dispatch.
