"With the continuous development of economy and society, the increasing scarcity of land resources, people demand for high-rise buildings continue to increase. Elevator as a vertical transportation, well meet the vertical transportation demand of tall buildings. The permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine as the driving equipment of elevator, its performance will directly affect the safety, reliability and ride quality of elevator system. Therefore, the development of a permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine special test system with energy feedback function has very important significance, it not only meets the machine load characteristics, but also can improve the testing process automation, and energy consumption can greatly reduce compared with the traditional load measuring system.This paper describes the working principle of the traction type lift system, outlines the structure, main components and prominent advantages of the permanent magnet synchronous machine. According to the test requirement, this paper made a necessary discussion on the permanent magnet synchronous motor mathematical model and it’s vector control mode. This paper also did the compared study of AC electric dynamometer system treatment on regeneration energy and its characteristics.Secondly, according to exist the load system method and its features, the elevator traction machine load system development present situation and the existence problem, by analyzes and compares the load characteristics differences of asynchronous motor and synchronous, determine the test system load motor type; Through the analysis and research on the characteristics of test system parameters. The test system electrical parameters and mechanical parameters of the acquisition equipment are determined; Based on this, by adding an additional inverter, realizes the load motor energy feedback back to the power supplier function, and then completed the form of permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine test system hardware platform.In the software aspect, in accordance with the test system hardware system and test process requirement, the author designed test software based on LabVIEW. Developed program based on the RS232, USB interface communication to realization of the data acquisition various electrical parameters and torque, speed in the process of testing; In order to strictly control the testing conditions, preparation of the automatic adjustment program torque points based on PID algorithm, using the NI data acquisition card, so that the running speed is stable and adjustable. The Modbus RTU protocol communication programmed, based on the FUJI lift inverter, to realize the real time monitoring for the working status of inverter.Finally, the testing of the permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine load system is practical, and the test results are analyzed.
