In the process of construction, the construction of the project, the number of its cost, are the key indicators to determine whether it is feasible. Because of this, it is necessary to control the cost of the project.Including the project investment decision-making stage, design stage, the construction stage and construction stage.Among them, in the design phase of the project cost control, has a crucial decisive role.Research results show that although the project design phase of the cost may only account for 1% of the entire project cost is less than, but the overall project cost may reach more than 75%. Therefore, in the engineering project cost control, the design phase of the optimization, i s very important. Because of this, the design optimization and cost control of engineering projects have become a hot research field in the current practice and academic circles.This paper firstly introduces the basic theory of the project cost control, including the basic meaning of the construction cost, the construction of the project cost, the basic theory of the project cost control, which is a solid theoretical foundation for the full text.Then, this paper analyzes the engineering cost control and optimization method in the design phase of the project, and studies the basic method of engineering cost control in design stage, especially the application of the method of limit design in the design phase of cost control.On the basis of the above analysis, X projects substation projects as the object of study, on the basis of the concept, using the software of finite element analysis ANSYS, using the PKPM analysis of reasonable size and components of the structure optimization design, the initial model is e stablished, the design variables are the section size of beam and column, the constraint conditions are the structure bearing capacity, inter story displacement angle, to be consumed by the reinforcement and concrete price minimum as the goal, on the stru cture of optimization analysis and optimization results were obtained.Based on the idea, the total cost of the steel and concrete is more than 8.37%.At the end of this paper, some concrete paths are proposed to control the cost of the structure design, which includes several aspects, such as improving the design management mechanism, optimizing the design scheme, establishing the design quality incentive mechanism, improving the design cost control responsibility system.It is hoped that this study will be b etter for us to understand the impact of structural design optimization on the construction project cost, and better control the cost can play a certain reference and reference.
