World economic growth continues to slow down, the international shipping market depresses, the oversupply of international shipping industry in the market continues. Chinese shipbuilding enterprises are facing enormous challenges, the only way for their survival is to reduce the cost of upgrading the ship shipbuilding enterprises in their competitiveness in order to get more orders. However, with rising labor costs, shipbuilding technology is difficult to achieve a major breakthrough in the short term, to seek a breakthrough in the high cost of logistics management in the enterprise to reduce shipbuilding costs is feasible and effective. Ship steel is the main raw material products with its procurement costs account for 30%-40% of the ship product procurement costs, to optimize the management of logistics systems is very significant for reducing steel plate inventory, lower steel transport costs, shorten steel cycle times, reduce steel logistics costs and shipbuilding costs.Based on lean production theory, it makes a deep research on a certain shipyard’s steel logistics management named as A shipyard. Analysis of the shipyard steel logistics planning system is based on the process.It discusses the form of steel out of the library based on DAP. The definition of the efficiency of the steel yard flap is put forward, and the reasonable measures to improve the steel flap efficiency of the A shipyard are given. It analyzes the benefits and difficulties of executing steel segmented distribution in A shipyard.It combines the types and quantity cut monthly in A shipyard recently, preliminary ideas of steel yard stacking lane pattern are given. In the safety stock prediction,it combines with A shipyard in the steel plate out of the stock planned schedule and the actual steel plate out of the stock program, complete with index values of the plurality affect steel demand changes and actual changes in the value of the network trained, in order to achieve security for steel yard inventory forecasting purposes. In the transport optimization,it gives a annual rental fleet to replace the original steel away chartering scheduled water transport, completed with C language programming to achieve optimal ship fleet model selection, and the program can output a month for each ship type specific transport programs.Achievements and innovations of this thesis are as follows: Firstly, Comprehensive analysis and discussion of steel logistics planning system and the whole big logistics process are based on shipyard process, the analysis model of steel out of the stock based on DAP is given. It analyzes the benefits and difficulties of steel segmented distribution in A shipyard. It improves the accuracy of the steel plate out of library program and reduces the steel yard inventory costs. Secondly, to complete the modeling and forecast of the safety stock of the yard of the shipyard by using BP neural network, it provides the basic method for the new stage of study on the safety stock in the steel yard. Thirdly, the model of annual charter transportation for steel mills is put forward, and specific programs which combined with an instance are given.It can reduce transport logistics costs, improve transport efficiency.
