Facing the prominent urbanization of population growth, resource shortages, environmental degradation and other issues, how has been built, the new urban construction is to solve a problem worth thinking about urban planning. Three-dimensional development of urban city can be resolved on the plane of infinite space widening and solve a series of urban development, urban land resource constraints caused by the effective utilization of urban underground space resource optimization means new urban spatial morphology. At present, China in the development and utilization of underground space, in theory and practice has made some progress, but on the whole, focused on the technical aspects of building works, how the system, the integration of underground space planning and design, focus on research of underground space development research case relatively small. Development of urban space tends to form systematic integration. This paper mainly in the development and utilization of underground space anchored in the necessity of urban form, cases of domestic and utilization of underground space for system analysis and comb; underground space at home and abroad classic case analysis combined with the existing underground space utilization Case summarized its characteristics and problems; through case studies drawn urban form and planning elements for further optimizing the integration planning summary analysis; Finally, based on the above analysis and research, combined with practical, to the center of Xining in Qinghai Province Plaza North expansion(square area) underground project control exploitation cases are discussed. In line with the study of urban underground space for further optimization of Qinghai Province in the overall urban form, urban construction, more comprehensive and reasonable basis.
