Nowadays, withthe rapid development of science and technology, information technology has gradually link tothedifferent industries,such asmachinery manufacturing, product designand so on. At the same time, information technology can bring greater efficiency to these industries.However, the degree of information technology in the construction industry is still at a low level, especially in thebridge construction reinforcement design field.Bridge engineering industry as the core foundation industry, should follow the trend of information technology,andcombined with BIM technology to improve the bridge project efficiency.Thesis researched BIM technology in bridge strengthening project the whole process, and BIM technology and finite element analysis, bridge strengthening after stability analysis. The main works of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, According to the literature summarized the characteristics of BIM technology. Then analyzethe studies development of BIM technology in different countries. And do corresponding description with BIM software.Secondly, combined with the characteristics of BIM, studies the whole process application of bridge strengthening project with BIM technology. In Bridge Strengthening Design we can use BIM technology in those applications, such as: modeling, database establishment, API development, stability analysis, testing and other phases.And be able to put forward a BIM-based bridge reinforcement of the Application Mode.Thirdly, the application of BIM in Guangzhou Haizhu bridge reinforcement project has been studied.Use MCT command stream to achieve the BIM model and Midas / Civil docking. And use BIM model of the bridge, do finite element analysis of the bridge in the consolidation process.Verify the feasibility of BIM technology and finite element analysis of the combination.Finally, the thesissumming up the advantages of the use of BIM technology.at the same timefocuses on the challenges thathow can take BIM technology is widely used in bridge construction project in the future.hoping to bring some inspiration for all bridge construction engineers.
