The stimuli may be exist in the development, production, transportation, storage and use process of ammunition warhead and explosive charge,such as shock wave and fragment impact, high velocity bullet shooting,jet impact and cook-off, which influence the survival ability of ammunition and weapon platform in the whole life process seriously, the fragment impact is one of the most common stimuli, so the high requirements for low vulnerability ammunition warhead and explosive charge under the fragment penetration is needed. Under the background of this demand, evaluation method and experimental research on anti-fragment penetration sensitivity of warhead charges was conducted.Adoption of a mathematical model of fragment penetrating warhead, analyzes warhead major failure mechanisms and forms of penetration in fragments, using a criterion to describe than the kinetic energy of fragments of warhead charge of penetration role and size effect based on the principle, access to the critical dimensions to meet their requirements typical fragmentation and 8701 explosives.Charge failure occurred based response-the product gas explosion external work, housing drive, explosive energy target for forensic pit deformation, chemical reaction energy release accompanying fire, explosive reactants effect five kinds of discrimination factors, combined with fuzzy mathematics theory, have set up a comprehensive evaluation methods on anti-fragment penetration sensitivity level of warhead charges.Failure by the above charge mechanism, analysis and failure to establish a hierarchy evaluation model, whereby build test platform, launched a warhead impact in a variety of types of typical fragments of detonation test size effect, access to the explosives in 8701 failure response data under typical fragment penetrating further improve evaluation method on anti-fragment penetration sensitivity level of warhead charges.Numerical simulation method, the failure fragment penetrating warhead conducted more in-depth study, obtained the internal overpressure peak range size corresponding to warhead sensitivity level, and the simulation results obtained test deficiencies exist in the process of improvement.
