Modeling Bionic Rebuild Design Study Of Engineering Dump Truck Based On Brand Character

With the rapid development of economy and the rise of the domestic construction engineering in recent years, our country’s engineering dump truck has obtained the rapid development and progress in terms of function and appearance modelling. In the 65 th IAA, lots of famous heavy truck companies exhibit their heavy trucks of the new generation, and it finds that the gap between China’s heavy truck and the international well-known heavy truck is not only reflected in the technical level, but also in the characteristics of brand building aspect.This subject comes from the project of “The Vehicle Engineering Graduate Student Education Innovation Center in Shanxi Province”. In the process of the modeling design of engineering dump truck, this topic integrates the typical character of Guan Yu into the brand character of Da Yun truck, aimed to rebuild the brand character of Da Yun truck. This topic carries out the research from two aspects. Firstly, it simplifies and extracts the typical character of Guan Yu with bionic design and the research of the front face of heavy truck as person traits. According to the correspondence between the front face parts of heavy truck and human face, it divides the typical characters of Guan Yu into several parts whic h can be used as the design source of the corresponding parts of heavy truck front face. And it analyses, simplifies and extracts the typical character of those parts which are divided with bionic color, form bionic and image bionic, aimed to obtain simplified color, form and image characters of Guan Yu. Secondly, it analyses brand features of Da Yun heavy truck with the product semantic differences and case comparative analysis. It makes a semantic differential scale about Da Yun heavy truck with the product semantic differences and obtains the brand semantic features of Da Yun heavy trucks through the research of users and design staffs. And it compares the color and form features of Da Yun all kinds of trucks with the case comparative analysis. Then it extracts and summarizes the main lines characteristic and color features of Da Yun heavy truck three elevations including front, side and tail.It can determine new brand features of Da Yun heavy truck by the above analysis and research. Combining with brand semantic features of Da Yun heavy truck and image characteristics of Guan Yu can derive its new brand semantic features which should still tend to be masculine, rational and stable technology. Since Da Yun Red is the most used color of the main heavy truck painting, Da Yun Red can be chosen as the new primary painting color after combining with the red-faced Guan Yu. And combining with the part line features of the up and down inverted trapezoidal grille of Da Yun heavy truck and the positive trapezoidal upper and lower grille extracted from Guan Yu can make the new upper intake port as octagonal shape and the lower air intake as the fusion superimposed form of positive trapezoid grille and inverted trapezoidal grille. And the new headlights is the fusion superimposed form of both Da Yun heavy truck square headlights and Guan Yu Danfeng formula headlight, the rest parts design of heavy truck still take the form of Da Yun heavy truck currently form as standard. Under the guidance of the bionic design process of characters of heavy truck in the text, it completes the modeling design of engineering dump truck according to the above research conclusion, which successfully uses the new brand character of Da Yun heavy truck in design practice. At the same time, after the survey on the design case, it confirms that the design case is closely related to the new brand character of Da Yun heavy truck and character of Guan Yu. This topic rebuilds the brand character of Da Yun heavy truck and provides some reference opinions for Da Yun heavy truck.
