After 2014, Chinese national strategy ‘One Belt and One Road Initiatives’ and ‘A sian Infrastructure Investment Bank’ had been carried out and developed quickly. This implies that the transportation infrastructure projects such as ultra-large high-speed rails,roads, bridges and ports are about to construct in the future. It is a precious chance as well as challenge for domestic construction companies. For the profits making and core-competitiveness promotion, companies needs to apply detailed management in suc h a specialized and divided organized market.Consequently, how to implement detailed management in the ultra-large project is raised as a significant topic by construction companies.Attitude and details determine success or failure. The critical point of detailed ma nagement is specilization of project target and categorisation of responsibility. In the p urpose of making full use of limited resources and achieving the project target, a prof essionalization, institutionalization and standardization. management procedure should be applied as a important factor. Detailed management which originate from system theo ry and cybernetics is not only a management methodology but also a management phi losophy and culture.This paper contains such content,firstly, the state of art of detailed management t heory had been present; Secondly, based on Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge island & tunnel project, project planning, organization, quality control, scheduling, risk managem ent, HSE management, cultural construction which are the main part of detailed mana gement had been investigated.
