For the supporting emulsion painting of the container, the exterior of the container is painted three times, and the inside layer is painted two times, each container plants have adopted automatic spraying for the exterior of the container, and in recent years, most of the container factories have shifted their manual spraying to automatic spray painting for the inside layer. There are two ways of spraying the container automatically: one is the traditional reciprocating spraying the exterior; and the other is rowed spraying, which is mainly used for spraying inside layer. Even though reciprocating spraying method has been used for decades, the configuration and design of the spray gun and the production process adjustments are all based on the rule of thumb and spray effects, which is lack of theoretical basis. As a newly- rising painting method in recent years, rowed spray has currently been used by most of the container plants, but the spray gun is still configured according to their own experience, and the spraying effect is not so up to expectation.In this thesis, theoretical calculations and field tests are combined together, and focuses on the relationship between the parameters of nozzle type, spray pressure, spray distance, lap proportion and so on, and gets the summary of the relationship between these parameters, the coating efficiency, and the thickness uniformity, and build a theoretical function model about these relationships.This thesis uses ASP technology(Active Server Page, Html nesting VBScirpt, JavaScript, VML and other computer languages), and develops simulation software for container spraying according to the relationship between the relevant parameters,with this kind of software,when relative parameters input, the painting thickness distribution will be automatically calculated with the generation of the film thickness distribution diagram( i.e., the cross section view of the selected cross section and the film thickness distribution of the selected plane). According to the diagrams, it can be visually seen that whether the calculated parameter combinations are reasonable, the best combination of parameters can be automatically calculated, and the relevant diagram can also be automatically generated.By calculating the process that simulation software simplifies for spraying painting, the simulation software developed in this thesis can facilitate the process of technological change during the designing process, and guide the technological adjustment during the process automatically, thus the container can be better automatically sprayed with high uniformity of film thickness and reduction of paint waste.With the help of the simulation software, there is an adjustment and optimization for the spray parameters of the container, and after a comparison of the film thickness distribution before and after, it shows that the adjustment is consistent with the calculation of the simulation software.
