Application Research Of Foam Asphalt Cold Recycling Mixture

Since the reform and open policy, road enterprise of our country is developing vigorously. Because of the aging of existing asphalt pavement year by year,,the maintenance of road are more frequently. At the same time, the highway construction and maintenance has the characteristics of high energy consumption and high pollution. The environment would be damaged by stone mining. Asphalt pavement recycling technology is good for saving energy protecting the natural environment and improving the level of road industry. Recycling technology which is accepted widely will be the focus of pavement materials research. Various new material showed different properties in the recent ten years. There were successful and failure cases, so lots of problems should be solved. The recycling technology mainly include cold and hot technology at home and abroad. Cold recycling developed rapidly in our country for technical level and manufacturing technique level. Foamed asphalt cold recycled mixture is applied at the middle and under surface and basement for its better performance. Foamed asphalt cold recycled mixture could utilize a mass of recycled pavement material.The application of foamed asphalt mixture was studied in this paper by the maintenance of luqiu road. The research is conducted on the pavement structure design, mix proportion design, construction process management, long-term monitoring, etc. Analysis of social benefit, economic benefit and application prospects are taken in this paper.
