21st century, power technology has become the bottleneck of the further development of electronic equipment. In addition, the status of individual combat system and UAV in military weapon systems is increasingly prominent. In order to exert the advantages of these scientific and technological products in the process of carrying out the military mission, it is necessary to equip an efficient and portable power supply. Reformed methanol fuel cell has attracted much attention because of its unique advantages in the aspects of energy density, portability, environmental protection and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an available reformed methanol fuel cell system.This paper studies the development of methanol reforming technology and power management system in recent years, and determines the reasonable method of power management system design. Combined with the use of composite energy and feedback method is effective. According to the principle of the reformer and the proton exchange membrane fuel cell and the internal reaction, the whole working process of the reformed methanol fuel cell is found out. Based on the theoretical analysis and experiment, the important parameters of the whole battery system are obtained, such as reformer temperature and fuel flow rate. Their changing laws are summed up, which are used as the basis of the program design.Using traditional single-chip microcomputer control technology, the system integrate the functions of temperature acquisition, current acquisition, pump drive, voltage regulator, auxiliary power supply and display, to ensure the stability. The system has a good human-computer interaction interface, and can automatically complete the control of the feeding speed, temperature management and auxiliary power management for the battery. The system can ensure the stable operation of the reformed methanol fuel cell in the practical application, and the system function of the system is verified by the combination of the 10 W stack.
