Since the fossil energies are being gradually depleted in recent years, the energy crisis has broken out worldwide, which caused a lot of international issues. Thus, developing new energy sources and low carbon economy has been the most important way of the economic and social development. Under this situation, Distributed Generation(DG), which use different new energies, has drawn more and more attentions, and many countries issued a series of policies to support.The connection of DG will change the structure of distribution networks, and it has great influences on reactive power and voltage characteristics of distribution networks. The general distribution network reactive compensation control can only meet the demand of basic compensation and is hard to adapt to the new changes of DG, even cause the voltage fluctuation and frequent device operation. Therefore, it’s necessary to study on the characteristics of reactive power and voltage in distribution networks connected with DG, and propose a more effective, more energy efficient and more suitable method of distribution network reactive and voltage control.Against this background, this paper titled Research on Voltage Characteristics and Reactive Power Control of 10 k V Distribution Network Including Distributed Generation. And the research target of this paper is to provide a distribution network reactive and voltage control method considering the connection of DG, which is based on the reactive power and voltage characteristics analysis of in distribution networks including DG.The main research contents of this paper are as followed:(1)analyse the power output characteristics of DG and research how DG affect the voltage of distribution networks;(2)based on the characteristics analysis, research how to reduce the distribution network voltage fluctuation;(3)research the reactive power and voltage comprehensive control strategy in distribution network including DG, and propose a dual control system of reactive power and voltage adapting to the characteristics of distribution network at different stages.
