Technical Feasibility Analysis Of Running The 20000 Tons Train In Shuohuang Line

The Shuohuang Railway is the second channel for coal transportation from China west to China east. And it’s also an important part of integrated project of the Shenhua Group which includes coal mine, railway, port, power, shipping and coal oil.To build a real big volume railway for coal transportation from the ‘three west’, and to meet the coal transportation need from the Shenshuo and Zhunchi Railways and the need for growth in the future, Shuohuang Railway has to develop heavy haul to enhance its transportation capacity.Based on the state of existing transport equipment, this paper researches on the operation of 20000 tons heavy haul train on the Shuohuang raiway in order to meet the need of the transportation volume growth according to the transportation need and structure in the long term. The researches include:(1)Introducing the development of heavy haul railway in both our country and overseas.(2)Forecasting the coal sail volume of Shenhua Group in the future and analyzing the necessity of 20000 tons heavy train.(3)Based on the equipment of the Shenchinan Railway Station, analyzing the feasibility of using C80 type wagon to organize 20000 tons heavy haul train, studying the organization system of the Shenchinan station according to the test of the 20000 tons heavy haul train.(4)Studying the transportation organization mode, drawing the train running graph and calculating the transportation capacity of Shuohuang line with 20000 tons heavy haul train.
