In recent years, along with our country people’s life rich gradually, the security of indoor catch more and more people’s attention. At the same time,the aging, unsafe electricity, water overflow when boiling and poured off the gas or other phenomena can cause a fire or gas leaks and other disasters in the house. In addition, burglary and robbery and other cases has become more rampant. All these make indoor security into the spotlight. Therefore, people really want is finish the indoor security systems to meets the needs of users and to do not need spend too much initial investment and maintenance costs of post. This article in a principle of safe, economical, efficient, scalable and easy to maintain of making a simple indoor security systems.In this paper, STM32F103 VE as the main chip of indoor security system and controls the state of the entire interior of each module of the sensor. Each sensor, including smoke sensors, temperature sensors, and the infrared detectors, are monitoring the room uninterruptedly in real time. The sensors will immediately informed the STM32 processor once the danger situation occurred. At the same time, remote water meter will calculate the remaining amount of water and the state of arrears with a double reed sensor, the information will also be transmitted with RS485 bus to the STM32. The main chip, STM32, will send all received information through the GPRS to the host computer system. As a large part of the whole monitoring system, the host computer system receives the message in each room master chip, and reflected the status in each sensor module of each room in the host computer software interface.This article described most of the hardware circuit and designed each functional module then test them. The various functional modules combined into a master chip for the hardware part. The software part of the system was designed and programmed in this design. The hardware and software of remote water meter have also been simple design, and its function was tested;The host computer has been designed with friendly interface and easy to operate. adding function to simply operate indoor security system. Furthermore,take steps and overall debugging and test running the whole system. The final results achieved meet all of the ruquirements in the begining of system planned. Of course, there are many small problems of the system also, such as the host computer software prone to stuck, some of the software during operation may not run smoothly, they need repaired again in late period.The indoor security system provides a less mature reference for the domestic market. Although the system is still in the experimental stage, through the system, domestic related companies can design more security, stable, intelligently indoor security systems to fill gaps in the market and brings the convenience and security of people’s lives.
