| Automobile industry is one of China’s Key industries. Plastic products occupy an absolutely large proportion and play a great role in the spare parts of the automobiles. In this way, the quality of plastic products directly affects the quality of the whole vehicle, which bring up increasingly high request to the quality of plastic molds. In this paper, it describes from three parts: preliminary analysis, design, and result of usage.The first part is about the preliminary analysis of plastic mold of the X61B(Nissan) panel flange project. It includes overall direction of mold structure, assembly boss column solution, strengthen structure, production equipment, quality of product appearance and how to fix the numbers of cavitation. And it is also included how to choose the right type of steel and standard components.The second part is about X61B(Nissan) project mold design.This chapter analyzes the overall structure design, mold flow analysis, parting line system, eject ion system, cooling system and venting system. As the plastic parts are very thin, we especially adopt K.G. theory at the mold flow analysis.The third part is that we have finished our design jobs in February 2013, and have completed all the manufacturing and processing work at July of the same year. 3 trails and mold turning works has been completed in the next following 3 months. This mold has be relocated to our customer and started production in the November. All mold issues has been solved during the turning and adjusting jobs in this 3 trails, The overall mold quality is very good during the following production process, and has obtained the customers praise. |
