Study Of The Design Method Of Shared Space And Form In University Intentite Comprehensive Building

In China, the expansion of university campus has been basically completed. The innovative type of comprehensive institute building is becoming an important type for future. High-quality shared space and arcliitectiire of university comprehensive institute building can promote student to exchange each other. But currently it has been designed monotonously and been lack of research for the design problem. This research would explain the shared space and the modeling design by design method and model analysis, which would be applied to further sludy.57 institute buildings have been collected covering from 47 buildings of United States, F.urope and Japan and 10 buildings of China to be analyzed for exploring the design method. In the aspect of shared space design, it has summarized the design points of shared space through the research of plane type, shared space type, shared space interface design and shared space elements. In the other aspect of modeling design, it has concluded the design method through the analysis of four points which is site conditions processing, form processing, epidermal selection and the conceptualization fonn design method of architect stars, to describe the modeling design point.The conclusions of this paper include:1. In terms of shared space design, it can meet the design goals through selecting space type; creating the space atmosphere by selecting space type consciously; Reasonably understanding the elements nature and space requirements; designing the interface of shared space by block combinations, digging holes, form exchange.2. In terms of form design, it can clarify the fundamental development direction through the progress of disposing site space and form, site elements, enclosure and the entrance way; achieving the desired effect of architectural form through the design of fonn and epidermis; clarifying the design point to get goals; form design realm has been summarized by three level from functionalization to conceptualization.3. In the aspects of shared space and fonn design, it can reach the ideal effect of architectural design by interactive design.The significance of this study is that, it clarifies the design method of shared space design through the analysis of composition and the modeling design strategy and level through the research of progress of university institute comprehensive building design.
