| Follows the technological leap and advanced services in the age of information, the philosophy of life and consumption are gradually changing. Customers tend to purchase product that enhance their experience. The trend in modern product design is changing along with the development of experience economy age, and user experience design is one of the optimal representatives of this tide. It is user-centered and experience-oriented, so it meets the needs of users better.Respiratory diseases have become one of the four chronic diseases around the world since the environmental pollution and ageing population. Domestic ventilator is the most commonly employed treatment, so domestic market scale has a 20 percent increase annually. Price competition is meaningless in the high-end market, which is monopolized by international companies, and experience is considered as the major competitive mean. Domestic enterprises pursue short-term benefits, leading to product similarity and lack of competitiveness, and the introduction of user experience design can improve the situation. The research concentrates on the application of user experience design on domestic ventilator. First, the background, purpose and significance are outlined to present the design approach, then, its concept and relative theories are introduced to clarify that product elements meeting the user requirements is the basis on experience formation. Second, obtain design trend through the research of market and product, and classify the elements of product design. Third, apply the statistical method to create background information data of target user, then, acquire the manifest need and implicit need of users by focus group, observational survey and scenario experience, and map the user need to design factors based on user experience. At last, two conceptual design schemes present according to regulations, design trend and design factors, and evaluated qualitatively. In the instance, three design proposals are proposed to sharply improve existing domestic ventilator, moreover, services are managed as part of the product design. |
